The ITU Regional Forum for Europe on Digital Skills Development will be held within the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe on “Accessibility, affordability and skills development for all to ensure digital inclusion and sustainable development”.
The ICT price trends 2020 webinar aims to share with a broad audience the latest findings from the 2020 data collection carried out by ITU in collaboration with the Alliance for Affordable Internet. With the webinar, ITU further aims to support policy makers and regulators in managing ICT services for consumers particularly during the pandemic and the recovery period.
This webinar will present the ITU Digital Skills Assessment Guidebook as a practical tool for countries to assess the existing level of digital skills, and identify skills that are required to meet the current and future needs of member countries.
The 29th meeting of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (TDAG) will be held online, from 8-12 November 2021, as was decided by TDAG at its meeting 25-28 May 2021. In view of the continued prevalence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting of TDAG will be held virtually for the second year in a row. The meeting will be limited to three hours per day to minimize the disturbance to participants from all time zones.
The third inter-regional meeting to prepare for WTDC shall take place from 10 - 11 March 2022. The aim of the Inter-Regional Meetings is to foster inter-regional discussions and identify common positions and agreement on key issues ahead of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC).
