During the TDAG virtual meetings held from 2 to 5 June 2020 (TDAG-20), and on 16 June (TDAG-20/2), the TDAG Working Group on WTDC Resolutions, Declaration and Thematic Priorities (TDAG-WG-RDTP) and its terms of reference were approved (TDAG-20/2/DT/3).
The ITU Regional Forum for Europe on Meaningful Connectivity is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with the support of Ministry of Public Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. Originally planned in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the Forum will take place virtually from 8-9 March 2021.
Cross-cutting Session on Digitalization: Digital Transformation in the Wake of COVID-19, which will be held virtually on 15 March 2021 from 10:00 to 12:30 CET. The meeting will benefit from English-Russian translation and captioning services.
The webinar aims to identify the gaps and bottlenecks at a country level for the utilization of broadband networks (and, where appropriate narrow band networks) and digital technologies to mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and describe a mechanism to stress test operator networks under man made and natural hazards in their journey to recover and adopt to the "new normal".

This meeting is being organized to update the ITU industry members and partners on upcoming events and activities of the ITU Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in 2021 and explore their interests in collaborating in the implementation of ITU’s regional initiatives. The meeting will also discuss the framework of such collaboration in a form of informal working group, among others.
The “ITU Regional Engagement Roundtable for Europe 2021" (RER-EUR-21) is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georga. The Forum will be held remotely on 13th September 2021 and will be held back to back with the meeting of the Com ITU of CEPT (13-15 September 2021).
The Regional Dialogue for Digital Transformation held from 7 - 10 December 2021 provides International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Member States, Sector Members, stakeholders and partners with opportunities to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities of digital transformation and to prepare for accelerating efforts towards inclusive and sustainable development in 2022. The Dialogue also serves as a platform to discuss and understand the perspectives of policymakers, regulators, industries, and civil societies in preparation for the World Telecommunication Development Conferences (WTDCs).
This event will be held on 1 April from 10:00 to 13:00 CEST virtually as a side event within the framework of the 2022 UN Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (RFSD) for the UNECE region.
Regional Development Forum is a platform for regional dialogue between ITU and its Member States, Sector Members, Academia and other interested stakeholders aimed at strengthening cooperation and partnerships to promote the activities carried out at the regional level.
The RDF-CIS will also present new Regional Initiatives for the CIS region for 2023-2025 adopted at the 2022 World Telecommunication Development Conference. RDF-CIS will be conducted in Russian.
