Arnold Kibuuka
Project Officer, Standardization Bureau, ITU

Arnold Kibuuka is a member of the Financial Inclusion Global Initiative (FIGI) Security, Infrastructure and Trust Working Group. He currently supports the digital financial services security lab at the ITU. Prior to joining ITU, Arnold was the senior technical security officer at MTN for six years.

Assaf Klinger

Head of R&D, Vaulto

Assaf Klinger is an accomplished entrepreneur, specializing in AI/ML, cryptography, blockchain and Telecom. In the last 7 years, Assaf has founded two startups, one in the crypto-currency AML/CTF space and the other is in the AI/ML space. Assaf also consults the ITU (International Telecomunication Union) and several developing countires on establishing a secure telecom-crypto-based payment systems using CBDCs (Central Bank issued Digital Currency) A native of Israel, Assaf has over 20 years' experience as a software & hardware developer and as a security researcher with specialty in cyber-telecom and blockchain vulnerability research. Assaf is an IDF intelligence corps. veteran of 13 years (Maj. Ret.) and has led the development of many complex systems, for this Assaf was decorated in 2011 with the Israel Defense award, the highest award a non-combatant in Israel, given for exceptional technological achievements and major contribution to the security of Israel. Assaf has a BSc. in electrical engineering from Tel-Aviv university and an MBA from the Technion. Assaf is a family man, married with twins, in his spare time he enjoys tinkering with IoT electronics and music.
