Study Group Advisor, ITU


Martin Adolph is a Study Group Advisor with ITU, the United Nations’ specialized agency for information and communications technologies. Martin's work fac​ilitates the development of international s​tandards in the field of performance, quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) for the full spectrum of terminals, networks, services and applications ranging from speech over fixed circuit-based networks to multimedia applications over networks that are mobile and packet based. Martin is also responsible for ITU's standardization work in the field of distributed ledger technology. Martin holds degrees in Computer Science from TU Dresden and in Engineering from École Centrale Paris.​
Xiaofeng Chen
Director of Technical Standards, Hangzhou Qulian Technology​ Co., Ltd.

He focuses on the technology and applications of Blockchain and DLT, has been participating and contributing in many standards and white papers in TBI and was elected as Sub-leader of TBI Interoperability Working Group. He is also the Member-at-Large of the IEEE Digital Finance and Economy Standards Committee,chair of Evidence collecting working group and vice-chair of trusted IoT data management working group in IEEE.​

Founder and CEO, Fohat​​​ Corporation

Igor Ferreira is an electrical engineer, specialist in microgrids and renewable energies. He´s founder and CEO of the Brazilian Fohat Corporation a think tank of energy intelligence, which creates business models and strategic innovation solutions that solve demands in global markets in energy transition, based on the 3Ds Energy and ESG agenda. Controls two energytechs that are international references in microgrid, besides  blockchain and DLT application in solutions for the Energy Sector in an open innovation model. Your company has projects in Brazil, Chile and Australia and it is part of the Energy Web Chain and Corda Enterprise networks. 
​​Rafael Timóteo de Sousa Júnior

Rafael Timóteo de Sousa Júnior (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1101-3029, WoS ResearcherID V-3293-2019) received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, from the Federal University of Paraíba – UFPB, Campina Grande, Brazil, 1984, his master’s degree in computing and information systems, from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité – Supélec, Rennes, France, 1984-1985, and his doctorate degree in telecommunications and signal processing, from the University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France, 1988. He worked in the private sector from 1988 to 1996. Since 1996, he is a Network Engineering Associate Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, at the University of Brasília, Brazil, where he coordinates the Professional Post-Graduate Program on Electrical Engineering – Cybersecurity (PPEE). IEEE Senior Member, he is Chair of the IEEE VTS Centro-Norte Brasil Chapter (Chapter of the Year 2019) and of the IEEE Centro-Norte Brasil Blockchain Group. He has coordinated research, development, and technology transfer projects with private companies and several Brazilian Federal Government Agencies. He has received research grants from the Brazilian research and innovation agencies CNPq, CAPES, FINEP, RNP, and FAPDF. He has developed research in cyber, information and network security, distributed data services and machine learning for intrusion and fraud detection, and signal processing, energy harvesting and security at the physical layer.
Yihui Zhang
Blockchain senior executive, Deputy Secretary General of the Trusted Blockchain Initiatives, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology​

Ms. Zhang has more than 5 years of work experience in blockchain, mainly engaged in blockchain-related policy support, industry consulting, industry development tracking, standardisation and cutting-edge technology research, and responsible for international cooperation affairs. As the blockchain senior researcher of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Ms. Zhang has participated in the drafting of more than 10 blockchain related whitepapers, 1 international standards (ITU) and several industry standards, which covers supply chain finance, traceability, finance, etc. Ms. Zhang has supported research on related industry financial policies of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. and kept contact with cooperative companies include Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei, Baidu and other Internet blockchain vendors. As the deputy secretary general of Trusted Blockchain Initiatives, which now is the largest blockchain alliance in China with 460 members, Ms. Zhang has participated in the Trusted Blockchain Conference jointly sponsored by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and Trusted Blockchain Initiatives for three years, with a close cooperative relationship with industry leading institutions, established 15 blockchain industry application project groups.
