Closing remarks

​I would like to thanks the Malaysian Ministry of Communications and Multimedia and especially the Minister for devoting so much of his time to the event. Thanks also to MCMC for helping ITU organise the event and providing these excellent facilities and hospitality in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. Thanks especially to Sulyna and her team and Norini for being an excellent MC. And thanks to you the participants, over 100 invited experts for having a really good dialogue and agreeing on some clear actions to take us forward. Speaking for ITU and my colleagues we look forward to working with you in the future to implement these actions and further contribute to civil aviation safety.

We will work towards having a further gathering like this early next year to review where we are with these actions.

Thanks especially to ICAO for its cooperation and especially Nancy for being here. We could not have done it without her. I am sure we will be working every more closely in the future.
