Sharad Arora is an international expert in e-learning, security, telecommunications, and IoT. He has played an integral role in several national and international technology committees and working groups focusing on ICT standardization. Sharad previously served as the Chief Officer of Wireless Solutions at Tata Teleservices and is the founder of Sensorise Digital Services Pvt Ltd.
He co-authored the ITU-T Recommendation Y.3059 on Trust Registry for Devices and is currently co-authoring ITU-T Y.RemoteEd, addressing e-learning in remote classrooms. Sharad is dedicated to developing solutions that bridge educational and capability gaps in remote and underserved areas using ICTs and innovative digital engagement models.
His notable contributions include co-authoring ITU-T Recommendation Y.3056, amendments to WTSA-2020 Recommendation-98, and various reports on IoT, intelligent transport systems, and M2M security. He has represented India at several global standards development meetings, demonstrating his expertise in telecom technologies, security frameworks, and e-learning systems.
