Mr. Hoshiar Singh, a distinguished 1994 batch officer of the Indian Telecom Services, currently serves as General Manager at Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited, under the Ministry of Communications. With a versatile career spanning across multiple sectors, Mr. Singh has held significant roles, including a deputation at Police Wireless under the Ministry of Home Affairs and serving as the Registrar of Copyrights under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. He also led the Trademarks and Patents Registry, New Delhi.
Renowned for his expertise in both technology and administration, Mr. Singh earned widespread acclaim during his tenure at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where he played a pivotal role in modernizing Police Telecommunications across various states. He is also credited with introducing the Disaster Management Plan for the Department of Telecommunications and spearheading several e-governance initiatives within the department.
During his tenure as the Registrar of Copyrights, Mr. Singh streamlined the registration process and implemented key e-governance reforms at the Copyright Office. His efforts extended to the Trademarks Office in New Delhi, where he optimized and enhanced service delivery.
