Yihua MA was born in Dafeng, Jiangsu, China in 1993. He received a B.S. degree in information engineering from Southeast University, China in 2015, and a M.S. degree in microelectronics engineering from Peking University, China in 2018. He won the sole Grand Prize of a national algorithm contest hosted by ZTE in 2017. Since 2018 he is with ZTE Corporation, China. He is now a senior engineer in the wireless algorithm mid-and-long term research team. His main research interests include massive machine-type communications, contention-based grant-free transmissions, NOMA and cell-free massive MIMO. He holds 17 patents and is the author of 7 peer-reviewed papers in the related areas. He served as the reviewer of IEEE TVT, IEEE CL and IEEE GLOBECOM.
