Rui FU

​​​ Rui (Ray) Fu is a Ph.D. student in health economics at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) in the University of Toronto, Canada. She has a M.Sc. in health economics from IHPME and a Honours B.Sc. in mathematics and statistics from the University of Toronto. She is affiliated with the Canadian Centre for Health Economics and the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit. Currently her research is focused on machine learning applications in kidney disease management and tobacco control policy. Her recent works highlight machine learning-enabled solutions for identifying high-cost, high-risk elderly kidney transplant recipients and novel ways to understand drivers of current e-cigarette use.
