Janne Ali-Tolppa is a Senior Research Engineer and Project Manager at Nokia Bell Labs in Munich, Germany. His current focus areas include cognitive management of future mobile networks, self-organizing networks, analytics, and applying machine learning on network management automation use cases. Janne received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Technical Mathematics from the Tampere University of Technology in 2003. He has 15 years of experience in network management related research and development in different roles in Finland, China and Germany. He is a (co-)author of numerous articles and papers on network management automation for next-generation mobile networks, including topics like automatic configuration change verification and anomaly detection and diagnosis in radio access network self-healing.
