The International Telecommunication Union is organizing the Sixth Regional Workshop for Africa on "Standardization of future networks: What opportunities for Africa?" , which will be kindly hosted by the Telecommunications Regulation Authority of Côte D'Ivoire (ARTCI) and will take place in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire from 26-27 March 2018. This workshop will take place back to back with the meeting of ITU-T Study Group 13 Regional Group for Africa (SG3RG-AFR) meeting that will be held in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire, from 28 – 29 March 2018.
This two-day workshop aims to deal with hot topics of Study Group 13 in this new study period, mainly IMT-2020, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Big Data. Sessions will be dedicated to discussing user experiences and successful stories from diverse African organizations with regard to the workshop’s topics.
Participation will be open to ITU-T members and non-members, from regulators, operators, manufacturers, service providers and different stakeholders in the African Region, together with engineers and academic members. Students as well as a broad audience will be also welcomed to attend.
