​Session 1: Mapping and Visualization Strategies for the Assessment of Connectivity

This session brings together National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs), service providers, and measurement tool vendors to explore innovative approaches for mapping and visualizing connectivity. Participants will share methodologies, tools, standards (such as Recommendation ITU-T E.813​) and best practices that enhance transparency and understanding of network performance. 

The discussion will emphasize how these strategies can empower consumers by providing clearer insights into service quality, coverage, and accessibility.

​Session 2:  Assessment of Performance and Service Quality of Satellite Connectivity

This session features insights from NRAs and service providers on evaluating the performance and service quality of satellite connectivity. Focusing on technical aspects and key performance indicators, speakers will examine how these services compare with terrestrial networks, identifying commonalities, differences, and areas of application. The discussion will also highlight emerging trends and capabilities and the impact on service quality. 

Spectrum and licensing issues will not be covered.

15:30 - 16:30​Session 3: Measurement Methodologies for Assessing Service Quality of Satellite Connectivity

In this session, measurement tool vendors will present their approaches to evaluating the performance and service quality of satellite connectivity. Speakers will introduce their methodologies, share initial findings, and reflect on lessons learned from early assessments. 

The focus will be on practical measurement strategies and insights that complement the perspectives shared by NRAs and service providers in the preceding session.

Session 4: Regional Perspectives on Service Quality: Focus on Asia

This session offers NRAs from the Asian region an opportunity to present their frameworks for regulating service quality. Regional service providers will complement these insights by sharing current trends, challenges, and developments in service quality across diverse markets. The session aims to foster regional exchange and highlight approaches tailored to local contexts.
