FAJARDO Cristina Isabel

Isabel Cristina Fajardo Arévalo is an electronic engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia). She is specialist in Marketing and Sales from the Universidad Autónoma of Manizales (Colombia) and she has a MBA degree from INALDE Business School of the Universidad de La Sabana (Colombia). Fajardo has more than 15 years of experience in regulation and negotiation of communication networks.
She currently serves as Technical Commissioner of the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) of Colombia, and member of the Board of Directors of the entity, where she is responsible for the proper development of all the regulatory projects in which the main axis is the technical component. She also provides advice on projects regarding Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) policy making conducted by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies.
Through her career, she has worked in institutions and companies in telecommunications sector, such as the Communications Ministry, Net2Phone, Nortel Networks, among other companies. Also she has served as Adviser on telecommunications, Coordinator of Telecommunications Regulation, Coordinator of Postal Regulation, and Coordinator of Infrastructure Regulation.
In October 2012, she assumed her current position as Expert Commissioner
