Daniele Trinchero is professor at Politecnico di Torino (Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunications), where he manages the iXem Lab (which he co-founded with Riccardo Stefanelli in 2004). His research interests encompass Wireless Networks, Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, and solutions to reduce digital divide in developing countries, and in marginal areas of developed ones. He is member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Ski Club Arlberg and the Italian Sommelier Association
