AGUERRE Caroline

She is a professor and researcher at the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires and member of the board of directors of the Centro de Tecnología y Sociedad (CETYS) in the same university. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

She was LACTLD's executive director and a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) for the IGF.  Her research and professional interests are in Internet governance and policy, with a particular emphasis in the governance of critical Internet infrastructures and the development of digital markets in Latin America.

She has an extensive record of publications in the subject and ICT for development. Some of her latest publications have been published by MIT Press, Blackwell, and the journal Information and Culture (forthcoming). ​
