ovira is Economic Affairs Officer of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and serves on the Innovation and New Technologies Division of Production, Productivity and Management since 2006.
He is an expert in the areas of innovation and technological change and has been actively participated with substantive contribution inputs and high-quality research to the areas of industrial dynamics, sectoral analysis, technological change, sustainable innovation and development, new technological paradigms income distribution and structural change, productive development and innovation policies for developing countries (in particular in Latin America and the Caribbean).
