Presentation abstract:
WeGO is promoting sustainable urban development based on e-Government and ICT through Digital Capacity Building, IT Consultation & Pilot Projects, Knowledge Sharing & Networking, and WeGO’s International e-Government Competition (WeGO Awards). WeGO’s member cities have come up with creative and interesting solutions to build Smart Sustainable Cities: Seoul’s “Night Owl Bus”; Frankfurt’s “Frankfurt Asks Me” civic participation system; and Seongnam’s “Comprehensive Digitized Outstanding Tax Collection System.” WeGO’s members are going from visions of Smart Sustainable Cities to reality.
