Jesse Chooi Tze Kheong is an experienced professional in the ICT industry with a career spanning over 20 years in the areas of market research, industry analysis and forecasting, contact centre operations, start-up funding and business development. He is currently the head of IoT Strategy and Business Development, IoT Division, at Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC). In his present role, he is responsible for developing the overall strategy and tactical execution for IoT Industry Development and Digital Transformation.
He was a Member of National Key Economic Area Labs (Electrical and Electronics) (June 2010 – July 2010) where 400 individuals were selected from industry and government of Malaysia as members of the National Key Economic Area Labs. The E&E lab developed 15 Entry Point Projects in LEDs, Semiconductors, Solar and Industrial Electronics estimated to enhance Gross National Income by RM15.3b in 2015.
Jesse holds an MBA from University of Dubuque, Iowa, USA, as well as a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He is married with 2 children
