ZHANG Xia

Zhang-Xia2-Session3.JPG​ZHANG  Xia is the Rapporteur of Question 13/5, ITU-T Study Group 5, and senior engineer at the telecommunication terminal labs of China Academy of Telecommunications Research of MIIT.

She received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunication (BUPT) in 2000. Zhang also acquired a Master’s degree in Software Engineering at BUPT in 2007. She has been working in the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing laboratory since 2000. Additionally, she has drafted several Chinese standards for EMC and Radio.

Zhang has been diligently involved in the research and drafting process of EMC Recommendations in ITU-T SG5 since 2004. Since 2009, she has been active in ITU-T SG5 Working Party 3 for the study and drafting of universal power adapter solutions for mobile terminals and other hand-held ICT devices.

Adding to her credentials, Zhang is also the editor of ITU-T Recommendation L.1000 and K.92.
