Masataka Fujii is the Vice President of Green Business Innovation Division of Corporate Environmental Strategy Unit of Fujitsu Limited in Japan since 2013 where his main role is the plan and implementation of the corporate strategy of eco-friendly products and solutions.
His professional career in telecommunications began when he joined Fujitsu in 1982 as a manufacturing engineer in Central Office Switching System Division. In 1993, he became the Manager of International Procurement Office in Singapore office. He went back to Japan in 1998 to lead the procurement engineering of semiconductor devices, electronic components and OEM for corporate products business. From 2008 to 2012, he took a role of General Manager of an environmental engineering for global warming countermeasure program, energy, chemical substances and waste management for whole Fujitsu group. He holds a Bachelor of applied chemistry from Seikei University.
