Mr.Bat-Ulzii Batchuluun has been leading Metropolitan Department of Information Technology since 2012. He speaks English, Chinese and Russian language. During his leading the IT sector of Ulaanbaatar City, he successfully implemented multiple efficient projects related to his launched major program that named “Smart Ulaanbaatar”.
In 2012, he established information safety ensured Data Center of Ulaanbaatar City, and has integrated the websites of municipality organizations into the integrated system. E-election 2012; he collaborated with General Election Committee within the Ulaanbaatar City. He was launched activity to apparent the information of tender selection via online.
He launched Smart Ulaanbaatar program (2013). Within this program, he introduced the software to store information of vehicles that enters through the city in database. He also established free Wi-Fi internet zones at 99 points of Ulaanbaatar City. President E-election 2013; he collaborated with GEC and installed 365 cameras at election points, created ability to watch election process at 65 points. He also developed main website of municipality government /www.ulaanbaatar.mn/, and it has awarded as best website of state. He led the operation of installing GPS for 185 garbage trucks.
2014, he launched an operation to audit and upgrade city integrated network, establishment of infrastructure for the first phase of the Smart Ulaanbaatar program. He collaborated with the Department of Property Relations on an operation for land e-ownership in first 5 locations which has collected more than 280,000 online applications.
