Bettina Tratz-Ryan is a Research Vice President in Gartner Research, leading the research agenda for environmental sustainability that is developing recommendations for technology and service vendors and software providers worldwide. She manages the research delivery on approaches to build, position and implement operational green IT goals, such as energy management, materials and environmental solutions life cycle. In addition, Mrs. Tratz-Ryan is supporting clients in building a process- and strategy-focused environmental sustainability road map compliant to DIN EN ISO 14001 (1221-2009). Furthermore, she identifies ICT opportunity and research projects related to strategic sustainable themes, such as intelligent city, smart utility grid, smart transportation or intelligent workplace.
