With over 15 years experience in the development and management of IP broadband networks and Internet services, Meriem served in the incumbent Algeria Telecom before joining the Ministry of ICT and Post where, as Director of the information Society, she conducted several e-government projects such as the modernization and digitization of banking retail payment instruments, the register of digital commerce and the development of institutional portals.
Meriem graduated from the Polytechnic of Algeria where she taught econometrics.
She joined ATU in February, 2015 as Standardization and Development Coordinator​
