Tashi Wangchuk works as the Head in the Bhutan Standards Bureau, the national standards body of Bhutan. He is the Project Coordinator for the Standards Metrology Testing and Quality (SMTQ) – UNIDO Project, Bhutan and has been taking this responsibility for the last 9 years. He is the National Accreditation Focal Point (NAFP) and is member of SAARC Expert Group of Accreditation (SEGA) and also represents Bhutan, Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar and Laos in the PAC/APLAC – PTB Cooperation project.
