Presentation Abstract
Title: Work with e-waste: opportunities and challenges

E-waste is often seen as primarily an environmental problem. The ILO tries to identify the opportunities and challenges for employment and decent work: how to tap into the employment potential of the e-waste sector at the same time ensuring that the work in the sector is decent. Two major challenges are informality and unsafe and unhealthy working conditions.
