Dr. Isabella Maschio is Scientific Project Officer with the Institute for Energy and Transport of the Joint Research Centre, the in-house science service of the European Commission.
She has a background in engineering and her major research experience is in energy policies, in particular for renewable energy and energy efficiency.
She recently focused on sustainable energy in cities and she participated actively in the development of the ITU-T recommendation 'Methodology for the environmental impact assessment of ICT at city level'.
