Li Weichen is Vice President of Technology at Beijing Knownsec Information Technology Co., Ltd., one of China's leading cybersecurity companies, where he oversees the company's overall technology architecture, emerging technology research, industry solutions, and technology policy studies. He also serves as a member of the expert group of CNCERT (the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China, under the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission), a member of the expert group of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) Cybersecurity Alliance, and an expert of the Cyberspace Science and Technology Innovation Alliance. With nearly 20 years in the industry, Li Weichen has long worked on the front lines of cyber offense and defense, and has deep hands-on experience and insight in cloud defense, DDoS mitigation, cyberspace mapping, threat intelligence, AIGC content security governance, AI agent security, and enterprise globalization security. In recent years, he has led his team in driving the company's strategic upgrade from "security for AI" to "AI for security," and spearheaded the open-source general-purpose AI agent platform AiPy — making him one of China's pioneers in deeply integrating large language models with cybersecurity. Under his leadership, Knownsec open-sourced AiPy in April 2025, introducing the "Python-Use" paradigm that enables large models to autonomously write and execute programs, establishing a new paradigm for agent development. In 2026, the team achieved a landmark result in global AI-driven vulnerability discovery, with AiPy autonomously identifying an NGINX vulnerability officially acknowledged by F5. He is also actively engaged in the development of national standards for large model security, working with leading research institutes and regulatory bodies to advance security evaluation frameworks for large models. Li Weichen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Information Science and Technology (2004) and a Master of Engineering in Communication and Information Systems (2007), both from Nankai University. He frequently represents Knownsec at industry summits and has been interviewed by major media including Guangming Daily, China Daily, and National Business Daily.
