ITU Workshop on "Machine Learning for 5G and Beyond"

Introduction
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized the ITU Workshop on Machine Learning for 5G and Beyond which took place on 5 November 2019 at Fraunhofer HHI, Einsteinufer 37,10587 in  Berlin, Germany. The workshop was kindly hosted by Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) . The workshop was followed by the seventh meeting of the Focus Group on Machine Learning for Future Networks including 5G (FG-ML5G), from 6 to 8 November  2019, which took place at the  same venue. These ITU ML5G events coincided with “#Berlin5Gweek" from 4 November (Monday) to 8 November (Friday) (https://www.berlin5gweek.org).

The workshop opened at 0930 hours on 5 November 2019; the FG meeting opened at 0930 hours on 6 November 2019. The meeting and workshop were held in English only.          

Target Audience
Participation was open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wished to contribute to the work. This included individuals who are also members of international, regional and national organizations. Participation at the workshop was free of charge and open to all.
