Graduated from Sup'Com School 98', Moez received his M.S in telecommunications from ENIT School in 2001.
In 2009, he achieved his Ph.D.​ in telecommunications applied to mathematics, under the joint tuition of El Manar Univ. and Paris Descartes Univ. France.
He started his career in 98' as a research engineer in the Tunisian CERT, as a member of PINA RD. In 2002, he became the chief of RACINES RD.
He joined in 2005 the Telcos Regulation Authority (INT) as chief of technical department, later he's promoted to Head of Interconnection & Access.
In Feb 2011 after the revolution he was appointed Chairman and CEO of the Tunisian Internet Agency that he transformed into the first neutral IXP (TunIXP) in the Maghreb region, Registrar, ISP and launched an open innovation lab (404Labs). 
Moez Chakchouk is appointed Chairman and CEO of the Tunisian Post on April 2015.
Chakchouk is internationally known as an expert in the information and communication technologies, regulation and internet governance. He is involved with different global organizations, and commissioner within the prestigious Global Commission on Internet Governance.
