Marie-Elisabeth d'Ornano is the head of Certification Department in LCIE Bureau Veritas and as part of her responsibility is also involved in different Certification Systems. At an European level Marie-Elisabeth is LOVAG Chairman - Low Voltage Agreement - which regroups main European Certification Bodies in this field. At an international she is also the IECQ Chairman, IECQ is one of Certification Systems of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) focusing on Electronics Components and as part of this role an IEC Officer participating in the IEC Conformity Assessment Board (CAB). For the other IEC Certification Systems - IECEE, IECEx, IECRE - she is the head of the French delegation.
Prior to this position she has been working for LCIE Bureau Veritas for 6 years as the head of Transport, Aeronautics and Defense Department before taking in charge the Expertise and Training Departement. Before working within LCIE Bureau Veritas Marie-Elisabeth has been working for several years in electrical and electronics industries first in EDF and after in ASCOM.
