International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Regional Office for the Arab States

The ITU Regional Office for the Arab States serves as a regional representation for advancing connectivity and inclusive digital transformation across its 22 Member States in the Arab Region. Working closely with its Member States, Sector Members, Associates, Academia, Regional Organisations, and international partners, the Office contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, in full alignment with ITU Resolutions, regional priorities, and national visions. Building on decades of engagement, it delivers meaningful initiatives, transformative projects, and forward-looking programmes that strengthen digital resilience, expand connectivity, and unlock socio-economic opportunities for all. Through leadership in various areas including emergency telecommunications, cybersecurity, digital inclusion, and innovation, the Office translates global commitments into tangible regional impact; ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital era.
