On March 27, Oracle Academy gave a motivational talk to women in Petare, Superatec headquarters (the largest low income district of Venezuela) .

Superatec, is an NGO based in rural areas of Venezuela in which they support Communities Creating Opportunities for improvement through technological, human and job training.

At this opportunity we collaborated with Adrianna Adrian (Senior Sales Consultant Oracle and Oracle Academy Volunteer) who gave a motivational presentation for 16 women of different ages, from 16 to 60 years old, all belonging to Superatec center.

This talk explains how technology affects us positively on a daily basis and the important role of women in IT.  We were also looking to break the stereotype that IT careers are mainly only for men and we also had a candid talk about   our personal experience of the Role of Women in IT.
