On April 16, Oracle Academy gave a motivational talk to women at the headquarters of the Boys and Girls Club, Las Margaritas.

Boys and Girls club has the mission of enabling all young people, to reach Their full potential as productive, caring, responsible Citizens.

This talk was given  with Tere Beard (Application Sales Representative Oracle and Oracle Academy volunteer) who gave a motivational presentation for 12 women of different ages, from 07 to 40 years old, all belonging to the of Boys and Girls Club center.

This talk focused on how technology affects us positively in everyday life, and the important role of women in IT. It also aimed to break the stereotype that IT careers are only for men and have personal experience from a women whose career is in IT.
