Summary: This technical report will hold the test plan for evaluating bone conduction characteristics in a round robin study across laboratories. The plan defines procedures for two main components. The send direction measurements, where speech signals are recorded at multiple anatomical sites to derive transfer functions between the Mouth Reference Point (MRP) and bone conduction responses. The receive direction evaluation, which is divided into two parts: (a) objective measurements, where a standardized actuator stimulates the skull at defined positions and bilateral recordings capture transfer characteristics and interaural crosstalk; and (b) a listening test using Absolute Category Rating (ACR) to establish loudness equivalence between bone- and air-conducted stimuli. The results will provide reference data and methodological guidance for future ITU-T standardization activities. It is also anticipated that the report will provide information about the analyses of the collected and anonymized test results.
