Summary: The Internet of things (IoT) as a relatively new technology is transforming sensing network in power grid to further enhance sensing data transformation services. However, this transformation concomitantly creates a need for effective reliability evaluation framework of sensing network in power grid. This recommendation specifies the overview, reliability evaluation requirements and framework of sensing network in power grid. This framework provides a comprehensive reference for reliability evaluation of sensing network in power grid.
