Summary: This Recommendation specifies the overview, reliability evaluation requirements and framework of sensing network in power grid (SNPG). The Internet of things (IoT) as a relatively new technology is transforming sensing network in power grid to further enhance sensing data transformation services. However, this transformation concomitantly creates a need for an effective reliability evaluation framework of sensing network in power grid. This framework provides a comprehensive reference for the reliability evaluation of sensing network in power grid.
