Summary:

This recommendation specifies human capability requirements that support the implementation of Recommendation ITU-T X.1051, for the development of an ethical, competent, and recognised security workforce in an organization. This includes the identification of knowledge, skillset, aptitude, and attitude (KSAA), credentials and commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) of security workforce. The requirements and guidelines in this Recommendation are generic and intended to be applicable for any organization regardless of its size and type.
This Recommendation provides guidance for:
security personnels to improve their capability and experience with the right KSAA by attaining certified credentials;
organizations to plan, implement and review its security human capability development programs; and
security practitioners and professionals to assess their capability and proficiency.
