Summary:
|
Network slicing is a key IMT-2020 feature that supports heterogeneous services. Network slicing allows the IMT-2020 network operator to provide dedicated logical networks with customer specific functionalities. In the meantime, the satellite and IMT-2020 network integration are expected to realize global three-dimensional coverage and ultra-wide-area broadband access capabilities anytime, anywhere. To specify network slicing M&O in satellite terrestrial integration is essential.
This Recommendation specify requirements, overall framework, mechanisms and security considerations of network slicing in satellite terrestrial integration in IMT-2020 networks and beyond.
