IMT-2020 networks and beyond provide communication support for smart grid applications through network slicing, SDN, and NFV. This Recommendation specifies monitoring parameters for user equipment, access networks, and core networks supporting smart grid applications in IMT-2020 networks and beyond, to classify service and network performance in terms of availability, reliability, security, and maintainability. It also specifies the QoS monitoring process, consisting of data collection and data processing.
