This document outlines functional requirements of the terminal device, capabilities expected to be supported by the Migration model of IPTV terminal device, and the IPTV terminal device architecture. This document defines a profile for Terminal Device (based on J.290 series), that is intended to be migrated from conventional or currently available content delivery services, such as digital broadcasting so that the immediate market demands on IPTV Terminals may be met.
