This Recommendation specifies a comprehensive framework for the conformity assessment of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. It defines standardized testing methods, procedures, and measurable evaluation criteria to enable consistent, transparent, and reliable validation of AI systems across their lifecycle.
The framework defined in this Recommendation is designed to support interoperability with existing international standards, facilitate harmonization of conformity assessment practices, and contribute to building trust in AI systems by providing a common basis for their evaluation and testing.
