Agent communication for residential scenarios refers to intention-level information exchange and collaborative decision-making among AI-based agents, which may require network infrastructure to support centralized registration, intention routing, capability management, and secure access. This technical report aims to specify how the virtualized Broadband Network Gateway (vBNG) could be enhanced to support such agent communication, including possible functional extensions, signalling interactions, and example service procedures such as agent onboarding, capability announcement, and agent-to-agent interconnection.
