Summary:
|
This Recommendation is motivated by Resolution 101 (WTSA-24), which encourages the development of standards supporting artificial intelligence for telecommunication and ICT infrastructures. The evolution of networks towards IMT-2030, distributed intelligence and interactive immersive services requires new approaches to network performance assessment and benchmarking capable of reflecting real operational environments. Autonomous urban robots as a part of FMSC (fixed, mobile and satellite convergence) equipped with AI capabilities (AI-agents as a virtual network functions) can serve as mobile test nodes, enabling flexible and scalable assessment of network performance under dynamic conditions.
This Recommendation specifies a framework for remote network performance assessment and benchmarking using AI agents and autonomous urban robots. It describes representative use cases, framework and basic operational scenarios supporting AI-assisted network measurements and performance evaluation in future communication networks.
