Summary:
|
The increasing deployment of AI-native networks and the emergence of agentic AI — systems capable of autonomous, goal-directed behaviour with minimal human intervention — introduce the need for a new signalling requirements and architecture. This draft Recommendation specifies signalling requirements and architecture for an agentic AI framework leveraging edge computing capability in autonomous networks, thereby enabling self-managing, self-optimizing network behaviour in IMT-2020 and beyond. The framework comprises service, orchestration & Agents, management and infrastructure layer, with signalling reference points defined for interaction among their components.
