Summary:
|
Based on the widespread deployment of content delivery networks (CDN) supporting ultra-high-definition video, cloud gaming, and edge computing services, agentic content delivery network (Agentic CDN) can be provided for CDN operators. Building upon the multimedia content delivery network (MCDN) framework specified in ITU-T F.743.5, Agentic CDN introduces AI agent-based autonomous capabilities to help operators perceive the operational environment, plan and execute optimization actions, and coordinate multi-agent decisions across distributed nodes without continuous human intervention. It helps CDN operators in solving the problems of high operational complexity, service dynamism under tidal traffic patterns, and insufficient intelligent automation. It will greatly improve resource utilization efficiency, reduce operational expenditure, and meet the needs of CDN operators for operational automation and intelligent decision-making.
