Summary: Different brands on the market describe the same motion behavior differently without a unified standard, which is a typical lack of semantic consistency. Standardizing various human motion behaviors is the key to solving the interconnection and interoperability problems between devices. This Recommendation aims at fulling this gap. It specifies the nomenclature and coding rules for hierarchical human movement behavior at the pose level. It defines pose units, pose states, naming conventions, coding methods, and quantitative representations, aiming to ensure semantic consistency and interoperability among intelligent health and fitness devices.
