Summary:
|
Q6/SG13 in ITU-T has developed a set of deterministic technologies. Multiple remote device control coordination serves as a major application scenario of deterministic communication for remote control systems based on IMT-2020 and its evolved networks.
Targeting the business characteristics of collaborative interactions among multiple industrial control systems, an enhanced deterministic QoS metric system and assurance mechanisms tailored for coordinated control, timing synchronization, and batch interactions will be formulated. These will be compatible with the IMT-2020 framework and subsequent mobile communication evolution architectures, thereby supporting the stable and reliable operation of multi-device and multi-system collaborative remote control services.
On the basis of ITU-T Y.3147 “QoS requirements and framework of deterministic communication for remote device control services over IMT-2020 and beyond”, this new work item is proposed to further standardize the Extended QoS specifications based on Multi-system of deterministic communication for remote device control services over IMT-2020 and beyond, in order to define QoS metric system and optimized QoS assurance mechanisms for Multi-system of deterministic communication under the QoS requirements and framework specified in Y.3147.
