Summary: Quantum key distribution network interworking (QKDNi) enables key supply across two or more quantum key distribution networks (QKDNs). In QKDNi scenarios, continuous and stable key supply may depend on multiple QKDNs, QKDN providers, interworking entities, interworking reference points and key supply paths. Therefore, dependability assurance for QKDNi needs to consider the dependability characteristics of the underlying resources supporting key supply across interworking QKDNs. This Recommendation specifies a conceptual model, high-level requirements and functional requirements for dependability assurance for QKDNi. The requirements focus on dependability information handling, dependability risk identification, dependability strategy coordination and dependability action support for QKDNi.
