Summary:

With the rapid development of technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, intelligent awareness of network services (IANSe) offers more substantial benefits compared with traditional network service awareness. Instead of directly providing raw data of network service awareness, it delivers more comprehensive analytical data to different network roles, so as to support further optimization of network services/applications.
We propose initiating a new work item to specify the requirements and mechanism for IANSe. This work item specifies the requirements for IANSe, the general mechanism for IANSe, the mechanism for intelligent awareness of typical network services and the mechanism for intelligent awareness of network services crossing multiple domains.
