Summary:
|
In bDDN, it is necessary to perceive data from various heterogeneous resources, and provide intelligence for the network by correlating and analyzing these data. However, the perceived resources and systems are usually heterogeneous and diverse. They may undertake different tasks, belong to different domains or different operators, resulting in inconsistencies in their awareness mechanisms. So, data inconsistencies often occur during data awareness from the heterogeneous resources and different systems, such as timing inconsistency, topological inconsistency, and semantic inconsistency. Without the consistency of awareness, the big data plane will be unable to perform accurate analysis and reasoning, and cannot provide more intelligent services for users and applications. To support more accurate analysis and inference, the consistency of awareness must be achieved across heterogeneous resources.
This Recommendation specifies consistency requirements of awareness for heterogeneous resources in bDDN. It includes the timing consistency requirements of awareness, topology consistency requirements of awareness, semantic consistency requirements of awareness and cause information consistency requirements of awareness.
