This draft Recommendation provides cloud computing requirements for token as a service (TaaS), which addresses requirements from use cases. In this context, a token is the basic unit of content that an AI model treats as semantically meaningful, and it serves as the fundamental unit by which AI capabilities are provided to and consumed by cloud service customers. TaaS is a cloud service category in which the capability provided to the cloud service customer is the provision, generation, and management of tokens. Also, this draft Recommendation is aligned with the cloud computing reference architecture specified in Recommendation ITU T Y.3502.
